Privacy Policy
Who we are
Amorati BV, Oude Jetseweg 1, 1731 Asse, Belgium (VAT BE0760401509), is responsible for processing your personal data. For privacy questions, email info@amorati.be.
What data we use and why
When you order, we process your name, contact details, delivery and billing addresses, order and payment status to complete, deliver and support your purchase. We process information required by law for invoicing and accounting. Payment providers handle payments; we do not receive full payment card details.
When you contact us, we use your message and contact details to reply. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address with your consent; you can unsubscribe in any email. If you submit a review, we process the details and content you provide to manage and publish it.
With your consent, we use cookies and similar technologies for visitor statistics and advertising measurement. This may involve browser and usage data such as your IP address, device, pages viewed and shopping actions. Essential technology is needed for the shop to function. You can change your choice through the cookie settings on our website.
Our legal bases are performance of a contract for orders, legal obligations for accounting, our legitimate interests in customer support and managing reviews, and your consent for the newsletter and optional measurement.
Who receives your data
We share only necessary data with providers that run our shop and communications (Shopify, Cloudflare and Proton Mail), manage reviews (Judge.me), process payments and deliver orders. After you consent, PostHog, Meta, TikTok and Google may receive data for statistics and advertising measurement. We may also share data where required by law.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where needed, they rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us which safeguards apply to your data.
How long we keep data
We keep invoices and accounting records for the legal period of 10 years. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Reviews remain while published unless removal is required. We keep other data only as long as needed for your order, request or a possible dispute. Cookie and tracking periods are set out in the cookie information on this page.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@amorati.be to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
We update this policy when our practices change. The latest version is always on this page.
